I'm excited to bring my experience in health care access, public education and community engagement to the Missouri House. I've spent much of my career in communications and public policy, working directly with nonprofit and civic organizations in the bistate Kansas City region. In my longtime role as Director of Communications and Health Policy at a regional philanthropy, collaborated with community and civic organizations to advance state policies to make health and mental health care more accessible and to improve women's health and the well-being of children. I also bring a personal passion for public education, having served 7 years on the Kansas City School Board.
I've lived in Kansas City for more than 30 years, and raised a family here. These experiences, combined with a desire to see the Kansas City region thrive, position me to work productively to improve the health and economic condition of people in our communities.
