My name is Janis Beacham, and I am proud to be your candidate for Missouri State Representative, District 156. I am a retired educator with experience in all levels of education including: Elementary, Junior and Senior High Math, Career and Technical Education, Union Apprenticeship Tech Prep and Business and Industry Training. My graduate level education focused on Adult Education; Career and Technical Education; Research and Statistics and Public Administration. Born in St. Louis, I grew up in Jefferson City. When I retired, I chose Hollister for my home. I love the lakes and access to nature in Taney County, as well as, the busy vacation destination area of Branson. I am passionate and hardworking. As a lifelong learner, I will be seeking your ideas on how to make Missouri, and especially District 156, a better place for all of us to live and raise our families.
