Janay, a Saint Louis native, born and raised in the 68th district. She is a graduate of McCluer North high School, where she served on Homecoming Committee, Senior Committee as Vice President, Pep Club, and Best Buddies. Janay graduated on honor roll and humbly won the title of Prom Queen her senior year! The following semester she left for a few years to attend Tennessee State University on scholarship in pursuit of a degree. A few years later, her path led her to The Healing Arts Center where she trained and earned her certification to be a Licensed Massage Therapist. Now Janay runs her small business practicing Massage Therapy, and serves as a guest teacher. As the daughter of Senator Angela Walton Mosley and State Representative Jay Mosley, the Niece of former State Representatives and County Councilwoman, Rochelle Walton Gray, and Alan Gray, and the granddaughter of the radical activist Elbert Walton Jr. this journey into politics was inevitable for Janay. She worked hard on all of the winning campaign teams since 2008 (starting with Rochelle Walton-Gray)!
