Today I was notified that I have the endorsement SEIU Healthcare Missouri. I am honored to have the support of the hardworking healthcare providers of the SEIU Healthcare Missouri who save lives, heal wounds, and provide care to Millions of Missourians. Healthcare workers have some of the most difficult, dangerous, and important jobs. We should be supporting these care professionals by ensuring that they receive fair pay, good benefits, reasonable working hours, safe working conditions, and are able to perform their jobs in facilities that are properly outfitted, staffed, and supported.
Healthcare is something that everyone has need of. Elder care and long term care are things that many of us need or will need, Missouri must build upon our existing healthcare system to develop one that responds to our growing demands for these types of care. To do so wee must support the human beings who provide care and support the healthcare system.
